Resources allow you to create an unlimited number of libraries for your clients to access. You can build out recipes, stretching guides, warm-up routines, mental health video libraries, and so much more!
Simply just head to the My Business tab and then Resources in order to get started. From this page you'll be able to add the Resource name, category, image, and then an optional video. It's as simple as that. You can even organize the category order from the green dropdown.
From the app, clients can access these resources right from their Train tab.
The first step is to make a YouTube account, which you can learn about here in this quick article from Google/YouTube.
The second step is to learn how to add YouTube videos from both your phone and computer and you can learn about that in this video.
Now that your video is on YouTube, you can add it to WeStrive. Head to the YouTube video and copy the URL, it should look something like this video.
You'll simply take that URL, head to the Programs tab on WeStrive, and select the My Exercises page. From here, you can push Add Exercise (or you can just do it from the top dropdown).
From here, you'll just give your video a title, paste the link, and then WeStrive will automatically pull an image for you... that's it! You'll never have to add this video again and it will be saved to your exercise library.
The benefits are endless. The WeStrive platform will completely transform how you run your training business.

At WeStrive, your clients are your business and we make it easy to add them to the platform and get them started!
From any page within WeStrive, simply click on the dropdown on the top right of your screen and then click Add Client.
From there, simply add your client's email and hit send....that's it!
Your client will now receive an email letting them know they have been added to WeStrive. Now, all your client has to do is sign up in the WeStrive App.

As a coach on WeStrive, you have the ability to add your own exercises. If you don't have any that's totally fine since WeStrive has over 2000 photos & videos shot by certified personal trainers.
If you want to add your own content: From any page within WeStrive, simply click on the dropdown on the top right of your screen and then click Add Exercise.
You'll name the exercise, add a link from YouTube or Vimeo, and then upload a photo if you have one. You don't need to add a photo since we automatically will add one for you.If you want, you can even upload these exercises in bulk.
Beyond that, you'll have the option to customize what type of measurement (reps, weight, time, distance, etc.) comes with this exercise, you can add a note, and you can assign it to a category as well.
If you want to see your exercise database or organize it into categories then you can just head to the Programs tab on train.westrive.com and you’ll see the Exercises section.

With WeStrive, every trainer receives a beautiful personalized landing page the moment you sign-up.
The benefit of having a landing page is it will give potential clients the ability to apply with you.
Your landing page consists of:
- Customized onboarding questions for potential clients to fill out
- Ability to add up to 10 packages with pricing options
- A 'Welcome to my training page' video you can add
- A quick bio about yourself
- Social links + contact info
- AND you can add up to 10 testimonials from clients including photos & videos
To activate your landing page you’ll first head to the My Business section on your left side menu bar. You’ll then edit your landing page information and turn on the switch at the top of the page. Make sure you have your Onboarding questions set up to your profile or the landing page won't become available.
Now you're ready to go!
You'll see a Link for Sharing and a Link for Sign-up.
The Link for sharing is the link to your landing page where clients can learn about you and then apply to train with you.
The Link for sign-up is the direct link for anyone to sign-up and immediately be your client - essentially skipping the landing page and the application process.

In order to add the description to a program, simply just click Details inside the program builder and you can add the program type, duration, and description all in the same spot.
YouTube recently started converting a lot of short & vertically filmed videos into their TikTok competitor - YouTube Shorts.
Unfortunately, this makes it an annoying process for us when it comes to adding videos.
Thankfully, there's a super quick fix.

Add this link to WeStrive and you're all set.
Through WeStrive, you can auto-magically 🧙♀️ schedule event updates & reminders for your clients. If you head to your client's profile and then select Client Calendar you'll see an Add Reminders button on the top right.
From here, you can easily schedule:
- Weigh-ins
- Progress photo requests
- Pre-written messages
- And then choose how often you want to send them off
You can have them go out once or schedule them on a monthly or weekly recurring basis.
For example, you can have a message be sent out every 2 weeks on Tuesday for 6 weeks straight. It's as simple as that!

Moving a program's start date and deleting a program will have the same result for your client's progress. The program progress will be deleted but their workout results will remain. Let's explain 👇
Let's say you have a 2-day program called Program X. Your client completed the 1st day of the program and then you change the start date.
When the client goes into the program, it will look empty like they hadn't started it yet - that's because moving the start date will reset the program. However, any exercise records or PRs will be recorded. So if your client does a Bench Press for 12 reps - 125 lbs, that record will be in their Progress tab.
Hi there - no they definitely don't! Your clients won't see any ads while following workouts inside the app.
Hi there, yes absolutely! From the inbox, you simply just have to hold down the voice icon to record your message. From there, you and your clients can easily send voice messages back and forth.
Announcements are an incredible way to let your entire clientele (or a certain group of clients) know something all at once.
A few examples would be:
- Your gym being closed on short notice
- Your sick and all workout programming will be late
- You have a vacation coming up and won't be reachable for a few days
They are easy to set up as well.
From the top dropdown, you can select Add Announcement and then choose a duration, client type, and even a video link to go along with it.
Once the announcement has been assigned, your clients are able to see the message right at the top of their home page. It will be pinned there until the announcement expires.
There are 2 ways you can message all of your clients at once. Announcements and mass messages. From the Add Reminders dropdown, just select 'Auto-message' and then you can add a message, link, photo, document, and more.
At the bottom of the page, you can schedule when you want the message to be sent and how often.
From your client's profile, simply head to Compare Photos in order to instantly compare 2 progress photos.
From this window, you're able to choose 2 photos, place them side-by-side, and then create an exportable progress photo comparison. It's as simple as that!
From your client's profile, you'll see their "to-do list compliance". Clients will see this stat on their profile as well. This stat tracks a combination of their Habits, Surveys, Progress photos, etc. and then provides you with a % based on the number of tasks they've completed.
If your client completes 2/4 habits, 1/2 surveys, and 3/4 progress photos, they would have a compliance score of 7/10 (70%).
Changing the start date can be done in just a few clicks. You can head to your client’s calendar or head to the assigned programs page on their profile. From there, you can hover over the program, and simply click Change Start Date on the right side of your screen.
Keep in mind, when you change the start date of the program, you will be restarting the program for the client. All their workout PR’s and records will be recorded in the progress section, but each day of the program will be reset.
At WeStrive, adding a Nutrition Plan is easy! And we're happy to walk you through it. From your WeStrive login, head to the Nutrition page.
You can add a nutrition plan from this page by clicking on the Nutrition tab and then clicking Add Plan in the top right corner of the screen (you can also add a plan by using the drop-down next to your profile picture).
For now, the Nutrition tab simply allows a PDF to be uploaded and assigned to your client. Once assigned, your client can easily access the plan right from their mobile app.
We are hard at work enhancing this feature to create a nutrition-plan builder (similar to our fitness program builder). We are hoping to launch that update by late-2023.

Onboarding for clients
If you've gone to add a client you've noticed the option for an onboarding survey.
Onboarding surveys can easily be added from your Clients tab under the Client Reminders dropdown - Surveys. From here, you can create 1-10 questions, multiple choice, long-form answers, short-form, and so much more. Your client is capable of answering these surveys both from the website and the mobile app.
Client OnBoarding is the exact same thing you would do with in-person clients - ask them important questions before you start training. Questions are typically along the lines of “what type of training do you like to do?” and “what is your injury history?”.

Onboarding for potential clients
We’ve added onboarding questions to your trainer website as well so you can create questions ahead of time that any interested clients will answer before applying to train with you.
Once a client applies to train with you from your trainer website, you'll notice a number highlighted on your Clients tab in the Pending section. Once in the Pending tab, you’ll be able to see their application. From there, you have the choice to either approve or deny the client after viewing all of their Onboarding questions.
Once you push Approve that person is now your client! Message them in the inbox or email them to get started.
As a trainer, you can track your client's progress by going to train.westrive.com and clicking on the Progress dropdown within your Client’s profile. Keep in mind, your clients can record their progress as well from their mobile app or by logging into train.westrive.com themselves.
The Progress tab allows you to track 6 things for your client:
1. Measurements - Easily track everything from body fat percentage to their Waist Size to their Diastolic Blood pressure.
2. Workout records - Easily track your clients Personal Records. Example: Tracking your client's 1-rep max for Barbell Back Squat. Our graphs will show growth over time. This can also be graphed in your client's app
3. Workout Journal - Records their daily workouts. When you assign them a program and they follow it on the WeStrive App, the program information is automatically added either way. They can enter their information as they complete each exercise OR they can go into their journal in the app and add their own workouts.
4. Bodyweight - You and your clients can utilize this bodyweight graph to track how their body weight has changed over time. Clients will typically add this themselves via the WeStrive App. You can even set automated reminders for them to weigh themselves on certain days by going to your client's Calendar and selecting Add Reminders. 5. Progression Photos - Track all of your client's progression photos. These will typically uploaded by your clients via the WeStrive App. Photos are broken down into four categories (Front, Back, Legs, Side) and can be sorted by date as well. You can even set automated reminders for them to take progress photos on certain days by going to your client's Calendar and selecting Add Reminders. Learn more on Reminders here!
6. Macro-Tracking - Just above the Progress tab, click on the Nutrition Schedule in order to assign your client's macros, track what foods their eating each day, and see their macro-nutrition breakdown. Click here to learn more about setting them up with Lose It! & nutrition tracking...it's free!

Make sure that your client has downloaded the WeStrive App. You and your client can track their workout history through their Workout Journal - which you can find from the Progress drop-down in your Client’s WeStrive Profile.
These are manual entries - either added by your client or automatically uploaded once they complete a day of a program.
If you are working with a client in-person you can do this together at the end of a workout. If you are working with a client online, please encourage your clients to add their weights/reps/times right from their mobile app.

Since the client's account is their own account, the trainer has no ability to change their email or password. If a client wishes to change account information, they will need to log onto train.westrive.com and do so themselves.

The point of adding your in-person clientele to WeStrive is to save you a significant amount of time each week with their programming, progression tracking, and more.

Your first client is free - get started on WeStrive today!
If you need to delete a client, it's simple. Remember, however, that any data on a deleted client is removed from our database and can not be retrieved. If you would instead like to simply “pause” the client for future use then you can Archive them.
How to delete or archive a client:
1. Log in to Train.westrive.com
2. Click on the Clients tab on the left side menu bar
3. Click into the client you would like to remove
4. On the side navigation bar, you'll see a tab labeled Settings
5. Once you click on Remove Client you'll be asked to confirm if you would like remove the client. (Same scenario with Archive Client).
6. Once you say, I am sure, you will get a confirmation that your client has been removed or archived.
You should no longer see your removed client on your client list. If the client was archived you can find them on the Archive page under the Client Tab.
Again, if you know a client is coming back to WeStrive, simply just archive them instead of deleting them. You DO NOT have to pay for Archived clients.
If your client doesn't receive the invite email, please:
1. Make sure they check their Spam/Junk folder for the email.
2. Make sure you typed the email correctly into the invite
Even if they don't receive the email, as long as the email is typed correctly, they still can download the WeStrive App on iOS and Android and just sign-up through their email from there.
WeStrive and our partnership with Lose It! will allow you to easily schedule out the macro & nutritional goals for your client and then track them as well.

With WeStrive, you can actually download every single program as a PDF instantly! From any of the tabs on the Programs page, just hover over the program and click the middle 'download' button on the far right side. It's as simple as that!
There are many ways to assign a program to your client. The first step is to build a fitness program from the 'Add Program' dropdown on your Home page.
Once you have a program, the fastest way to assign it is to simply head to the drop-down menu at the top of your screen and select Assign Program.
Once the Assign Program window appears, simply choose the client, the day you want them to begin the program, and then whether or not you want to keep the program as a draft after assigning.
Saving the program to draft will allow you to easily re-use the program for any other of your clients. Don't worry though if you forget to keep the program as a draft right away. You can always move the plan to Templates or Drafts in the future.
When it comes to scheduling, if you don't want your client to start a program yet OR if you are waiting for them to pay you, you can always schedule a program for a future date.
Keep in mind, you need to make sure that you have at least 1 day completed for every week you've added. If you add 7 weeks and only 6 of them have at least one day with an exercise attached, then the program cannot be assigned.

All you have to do is head to the invited section on Train.westrive.com and push Edit. Once the window pops up, simply add their email and push Save.
If your client wants a refund, that will be between the two of you to work out. We have no control over how you run your business and we are simply the intermediary.
If the client is ready to go through with the refund - we can quickly process that for you on WeStrive's Stripe payments. Just email us with the client's name and we'll be good to go. Help@westrive.com
However, (and this almost never happens) if we find that clients are constantly emailing us asking for refunds then we will pause your Stripe account for the time being and ask you to use a different service for payments.
In order to add Progress Photos of your client, simply head to your Clients tab, click on your client's profile, head to Progress, and then head to Photos.
Once you're there, you can add progress photos based on date and photo type (front, back, legs, and side).

Your clients will have access to the documents from both their train.westrive.com website and also from the mobile app in their Profile tab.
If you or your client pushed 'complete' on a program then it will no longer appear on your client's Train tab because our system thinks you don't need to follow it anymore.
If you want to have the client follow it again, then it's a super simple fix.
Just head to your clients profile - Client Plans dropdown - Fitness Programs. From here, just hover over the completed plan and push 'Uncomplete Program'.
This will automatically put the program back on their app so they can follow it again.
Tags are an incredible way to group clients together for convenience and organization.
In order to add tags: Simply head to your client's tab and select Add Tag. From there, you can you can choose the tag name and then assign the tag to your clients.
In order to use tags: Tags can be used in a lot of different ways. For example, let's say you want to assign the same program and daily routine to 10 different clients. Instead of assigning those details over and over again, just add them all to a tag and then assign the programs in bulk.
Tags can be used to assign programs, calendars, and so much more.
In order to cancel your client's recurring invoice, simply head to the Settings tab in their Profile and click Cancel Invoice at the top of the page.
If you're billing a client monthly and want to stop the billing, simply head to the Settings in their profile on WeStrive and click the red button Cancel Invoice.

WeStrive has updated client invoices so now all it takes is just 1 click to pay. Clients don't even need to login.
As a client, you'll receive an email and you'll simply click on the 'Payment Link'.
From there, a web page will appear powered by Stripe that will allow you to type in your payment info, pay, and then you can even download the invoice instantly. It's as simple as that.
Syncing up the Lose It! Nutrition App to WeStrive takes less than a minute.

As a client, all you have to do is login at Train.westrive.com and head to your Billings tab.

As a client on WeStrive, simply login to Train.WeStrive.com and head to your settings. From here, click Payment and you'll be able to edit your card.

Unfortunately, Stripe doesn't allow WeStrive to take your existing Stripe account and pull it over to our WeStrive payments system.
You'll have to setup a new Stripe account with WeStrive - but it only takes a few minutes! Email us at help@westrive.com with any questions.
WeStrive doesn't actually need your SSN (and doesn't store it anywhere on our website), it's Stripe that requires it.
Stripe does this to verify you are an actual person in order to give you a Connect Account (the account you receive to handle billing with your clients on a one-time or monthly basis).
Most websites have the payments all go to the website and then they pay you out afterward. With WeStrive, we wanted your money to be yours right away. In order to do that, we had to give every trainer a Stripe 'Connect' account which essentially means you handle all your own payments independently from us. You're able to send invoices when you want and Cash Out when you want.
It costs WeStrive $3/month/trainer just to have each account and you need to be verified by Stripe in order to collect payments. It's a couple of extra steps up-front but in the long run, it's 100% easier since it gives you complete control of your business and invoices.
Any time you have a balance of more than $25 then you can pull your money out and it will be transferred to the debit card/bank account you have provided on your WeStrive account.
Once your account reaches $25, you can simply push Withdraw on your Home page in order to receive the funds. If you need to get to your funds sooner and your balance is below $25, just send us an email at Help@westrive.com and we'll help you get paid sooner.

Your exercise photos & videos can be uploaded to WeStrive from this link or from the dropdown at the top of your WeStrive page under Add Exercise.
Everything you upload can only be seen/used by your clients. No trainers, clients, or even the WeStrive staff has access to the exercise photos & videos that you upload.
If you forgot your password, simply head to train.westrive.com and click Forgot Password below the login section.
From here, you'll type in your email and WeStrive will email you a reset password link. It's as simple as that!
As a trainer, you can instantly update your payment right from your Settings page under Subscription:Train.westrive.com/settings/payment

Leaving your team is super simple. From train.westrive.com you will head to the My Team page, click the three dots next to your team, and then choose Leave Team at the bottom of the pop-up.

- $175/mo: You'll have an entirely custom app in the app store with your own app store screens, logo, loading video, and then full branding in the app as well.

Adding a gym to your team is a really simple/quick task.
All you need to do is head to the Gyms tab and the Locations page will be the first one selected. Simply just push the green ‘add location’ button, add their email, and then you’re all set!
That location owner will receive an email and they just need to make an account.
Transferring a coach is a quick task. Head to your Gyms tab, click on the Coaches tab, and then find the big green button that says Add Coach. Click the dropdown next to it and select Transfer Trainer.

You can add/edit/transfer coaches of other gyms as the head coach but you can’t update/edit any of their clients.

If your location leaves the head location then that’s totally fine. You’ll immediately be asked to add your own payment info and you’ll begin operating as a solo gym. Once you’re solo and eventually want to expand - you can start adding your own locations as well!
It's really simple! All you have to do is just add the email associated with their account. They'll get an email with a link, all they have to do is click that link and they will "magically" get added to your gym, along with all their clients & programs.
Hi there - Yes!
If you add a coach/trainer to your gym then the clients they currently work with will come along with them.
From there, if you need to transfer them to yourself (the gym) or another trainer, you can head to the Gyms tab and transfer the clients from there.
If a client cancels their membership or no longer wants to be a part of your gym, you can simply head to their Profile - Settings - Delete Client.
However, if this client is attached to a trainer at your gym, you'll have to either ask the trainer to delete them or transfer the client to yourself first before deleting them.
From WeStrive, you can add an overview photo/video to both the program and each individual day. Keep in mind that clients won't expect you to add a program overview to every single day in your program (especially not a video for each day), but having a program cover image will make the app look a lot cleaner and will remove replace a basic icon as the cover photo with a beautiful image for your clients to look at.
From the program builder, just head to Details to add the profile photo, video, and description of the program.
To add the day overview, simply just click on the 3 dots in the program calendar and select Edit Overview. You can then add the day photo, video, and description.
Zapier is now live on WeStrive! Simply click the lightning bolt icon in your top navigation in order to get started.
What is Zapier?
Zapier is a tool that helps you automate repetitive tasks between two or more apps without having to add any code. Zapier allows you to move information from one app to another automatically rather than manually.
A few examples would be:
- Every time a new client is added on WeStrive, you can automatically add them + a $ value to a Google Sheet for record keeping
- Every time a client pays an invoice in WeStrive, you can automatically email them in Mailchimp with a custom email
- Every time a client subscribes to your Wordpress site, they can automatically be added as a client on WeStrive.
